Na Jomtien Beach
Na Jomtien Beach: this beach begins at the intersection of Jomtien Beach Road and Chaiyapruek Road, where the south police box is located. It runs for six kilometers until it is interrupted by natural barriers.
For the first 300 to 400 meters, the beach is just like Jomtien Beach, without the chains of bright, fluorescent buoys, but the beach gets more and more narrow… until there is no beach at all, at least at high tide.
The ocean comes right up to a seawall, which is right next to a brick walkway, which is directly next to the beach road! At least half of the beach is like this. Some entrepreneurs have taken to putting beach umbrellas or tables on the brick walkway!!
This type of beach is not for everyone but it is quiet as vehicles can only enter the beach road at both ends of the beach. And, there are no chains of protective buoys to ruin a nice view of the ocean.
There are many Thai-style seafood restaurants and karaoke bars on the other side of the beach road…it seems that this beach enjoys quite a nice nightlife.
No guest houses or cheap hotels are to found on or near the beach except at the ends.
